I agree. I was a little nervous about the chop, but it looks like you have the skill set to knock it out of the park. Nice work!

Test piece made before final panel. The stock panel is very square.

thunderroad - That's a cool Buick they make great customs. My neighbors were always pissed when, I started a new project. The neighbor lady always complained about my grinding, I told her one day that I didn't complained about her son's punk rock band and she never said another word. :D

    Hi !
My hat off , very inspiring to see your -41 Buick project , what lovely lines -41 Buick have only improved by your modifications . I plan a similar project on my -41 Cad coupe making it a carson custom , -41 Cad has the same basic body but Buick have a smoother more rounded fenders and front end . I think the -41 Buick grill is factory custom design , no chance of keeping the old potmetal ?
Please see Sams -41 Buick super chopped in Belgium that looks similar to your build :

Thanks for showing the pictures !

The Buick's are a wonderful project car and there aren't many '41's around. Good luck with yours. When done if you take it to Car Shows you'll get lots of lookers and positive comments.

    I love this car.
Have you thought about bringing the rear bumper in closer to the body? I feel like it might flow a bit better.

Cant wait to see more progress! :D

second the really nice metal work, English wheel and a shot bag??

just wondering how you got the compound curve in there or was it more than one piece of metal???

That patch panel turned out beautifully. There's just so much to be said about that profile.
