HELP! Belly Tank Question

    I have a belly tank that is about 67 inchs in diameter and just over 12 ft long.... does any one know what it is off of and what it might be worth to the right guy??

    I do not have any idea of what it is worth but I have one very similar and, from what I have been able to find out about it is that it is most likely from a F86. Korea or Vietnam era jets and they were really used as transfer tanks used on long ferry flights and not meant to be dropped although they could be dropped if needed. Most drop tanks built after WW2 were not made of aluminum, they were made from some type of laminated fiber material.

    If you find the value of your tank let me know.

    In reality these what are they worth threads are themselves worthless,I wish the mods would shut them down and give these fng's a warning.It's only worth what someone will give,be it a dollar or 100 thousand dollars.

    667" in dia. is an gigantic tank. Most are in the 26-36" range.
     
  7. Holy crap, even I could fit inside of a 67" dia tank............
    could it may be 67" circ or about 21.3 dia?
