  4. I've got 2 bucks and am hungry, I'd prefer the two tender steak sandwich, but tell me the meaning of the shoestrings? does it mean i have to eat shoe laces? yumm!

Yes, a NY chain, long gone.

Used to go to one in Batavia NY all the time while I was in college.

    That and Red Barn.
    Anyone remember them?

A friend of mine asked if I could help identify the car in this photo. She believes the picture was taken in 1959 or 1960. The picture was taken at a Jaycees event in Euclid Ohio. Any guesses ? Thanks to all for a great post !

Choppers were still young and many are still around. Might be worth firing off an email just for proximity alone.

  14. They would be French fried potatoes but cut smaller than usual. Maybe like an 1/8 inch square or smaller. Steak 'n' Shake still serves them this way. Amd now I want some! :D

(I'm catching up). Two time all-star, Leon Wagner (nicknamed Daddy Wags). Played for the Angels from 61-63. He had 12 years in the major leagues. He owned a clothing store after baseball for a while, but according to Baseball Reference's Bullpen, he ended up homeless and died in a shed. (Someone else named him too.)

[IMG] Vic Power's Baseball Reference Photo.
[IMG] And Leon Wagner's photo. It is definitely Wagner, so it couldn't be 64 as he was traded to Cleveland during the off season.
