Watch yourself out around the 2 converts under the roof... Off to the left there is an old hay fork buried in the dirt upside down. I found it with the meaty part of my right foot just in front of the heel. It went through the side of my boot on the inside and into my foot, then traveled all the way up to the ankle. Hurt like a sunamabeotch..! Had to tug a few times to get it back out. Damn fine pair of boots, ruined.

  3. On a positive note here's a bunch of tin I saved last weekend from another location.
It's all for sale too... I'm about to start a topic for what I have available in the Classifieds so please check it over there, dont ask about it in this section (per Hamb Rules) Im not posting in this section to sell, but for people to see what I saved that was "sitting and rotting". Thanks

Is the Blue 50's Buick with all the bumper guards the one in this set of photos? if so that is the stock configuration of a 1950 Buick. (they look cool in my eyes)

'50 is the one year Buick's grill teeth went over the bumper, so yes.

  6. Yes the one in the picture is the one I was refering to.
I didnt know that was stock, cool, "you learn something new everyday".

That Buick is probably one of the FEW that might still stand a chance if the right person came along.

Found this in Detroit last year. '60 registration and maintenance records inside. Pulled out of a garage that was about to be torn down.

These unfortunately are destined to sit forever as they are in the Joshua Tree National Park. The flathead V-8 looks to be a 29 Lincoln. That car is aluminum bodied. My guess is they were bought cheap in the late 30's out of Palm Springs and cut down into trucks.

My current project as found. Parked in '75 with 37K miles and almost no rust.

The '59 caddy looks completely saveable!

  26. Always liked the '60 Impala 4 door hardtop with the big wraparound rear windlow. My personal pick for best looking Chevy of the '60s.

In my line of work, I'm frequently on construction job sites...this 61 New Yorker was unearthed during the construction of a foundation for a new Interstate 95 bridge here in RI. I was up on the old bridge and saw it down next to the excavator after it had been pulled out of the hole..took a little while but I figured it out..I keep the turn signal lens on my desk.
