I have a forty ford frame with original flathead. I want to put a different radiator in it which will mean I may have to raise the fan. Anybody know of a kit to raise the fan?

There is no kit. It all depends on if you plan to use the original 40 engine. Since the original fan is bolted to the crank pulley you mite just be better off leaving it there and moving the rad. forward. 40 Ford rads hold about 22 quarts and will cool nicely, especially if you pressurize it. Raising the fan up higher requires a new fan bracket carrier. Electric fan?

The kit would be a '42-48 crank pulley and fan from same--exact details of mounting would depend on generator location and type, but all would be a bolt on.
