I hope this person is "dealt" with... I'm getting so tired of these low life's not having any respect for people's personal property... This guy needs to learn a lesson.. but then again.. some people are just wired wrong.

I feel for this guy and I hope he gets his Chevy back soon. I think all of us can relate.

How did the crook get it? Hot wire? Were the keys in it? Owner didn't hear somebody break into garage and fire it up? I sure hope he gets it back relatively intact.

My buddy said he saw it Monday.

"It was sitting in front of a house at the corner of York and Arkwright all morning into the afternoon on Monday. Just went by there and it's gone"

There you go, two sightings in the same area south of where it was stolen from. That is where you should be looking.

I told him to. There have been multiple sightings in St. Paul.

The lead in St. Peter/Mankato was a different car though.

The owner is heading to St. Paul to hunt for it today.

    "Randy Duncan
someone I know seen my car at a bussiness ctr on Rice & Pennsylvania at 3;00pm yesterday. He did know it was stolen, thought it was me"

These two locations are only about 1/2 mile apart.

  14. Yahhh, I'm anxious to hear that the car has been found safe & sound.

Jeez everywhere I seem to turn anymore (my neighborhood, co-workers, local news), someone is getting ripped off by some low-life! I loathe thieves...

I have heard it has a fist sized dent in the hood and the ignition was punched out of it.
They think possibly the first guy ditched the car and someone else stole it after that!
Glad to hear it has been found, too bad his friends couldnt get there before the cops, if you know what I mean.......

    Followup on KARE-11: http://www.kare11.com/news/article/972318/391/Stolen-classic-car-found-in-St-Paul

ST. PAUL, Minn. - A Ham Lake man's prized 1957 Chevy wagon has been found just a few days after it was stolen.

Randy Duncan, the owner of the classic car, confirmed to KARE 11 that the Chevy was found Wednesday on the east side of St. Paul. Duncan said it was covered with a tarp.

Anoka County authorities confirm the car has been located and is in the crime lab. The car had some minor damage.

Duncan hopes to get the car back either Thursday or Friday.

Investigators say the Chevy wagon was stolen either Sunday night or early Monday morning. It's believed the suspect is a driver who crashed a truck into a nearby creek after deputies tried to pull them over.

    No arrests have been announced.

That car would have been hard to hide as bright as it was, lucky they didn't shove it in a garage. So it was 30 miles from Ham Lake, goes to show these theives have guts, driving a distinctive car around and not thinking anything about it. Glad it was recovered in relatively good shape. :)

  30. Hopefully they will catch the guy who stole it! Now the headache begins to get the car back and fix the damage.
