Guys, These two photos show the front shock mount and the opening Jim cut in the inner fender for the fenderwell headers. Hope you all are enjoying this update. Feedback is more than welcome.
Oh, the other pix is of the mods to the left side of the radiator brace.

    Dave :)

Roy, Thanks for the response. That Comedt looks like it can get with the program ! Hope you keep on following the build of Jim's AWB Dart.

Tommy, Hope you are patient. I can only make these reports every other Friday. I have it off and can check in with the builder for any progress they might have made.

    Dave :)

Roy, All this AWB talk is kind of bringing up the hair on the back of my neck. I have a little '65 Falcon two door sedan that would just be perfect. Put in a narrowed Econo front axle pushed forward. The rear would also be moved forward - I don't know - maybe 8-10 inches. Mill - Maybe a 4.6 like the one on the Muscle Car TV (Spike Channel) with injected stacks sticking out of the hood. Muscle Car was a '64 Comet. Just need to find some one to do some trading with.

    Dave :)

My parents last car was a 63 Dart GT, I always thought it would have looked great set up like this project, I cut my teeth on pushbutton Torqueflights.

Any updates? Please tell me you're going candy stripes on the roof like the classic mopar cars.

It's cool, but the intake manifold(s) are all wrong for an altered car. An altered implies drag use, whereas long rams were meant to maximize torque at around 2800RPM, which is way below what you'd want in a drag car.

By the looks of the rear tires its gonna be a street /strip car. Nothing to be worried about. With the right cam it will make near 500 ft pounds of torque. That with 3.5s or 3.25s You could drive it a hundred miles to the track and rip off low 12s or high 11s all day long. Then drive home. Works very well for Me. Fed
