Wheels are 15x8 with a 2.5 offset. They stick out a bit in the rear. I measured wrong when I was trying to figure out what size I needed. My truck has a dodge rear end in it and a volare front clip. I like it I had to roll the rear fenders a little. Tires are buffed BF's from the junkyard I scored for nothing!!

rcshaggy............ I don't think the hole is for a sunroof but the best way to chop the top of a '53 to55 Effie. The top has to be stretched 4 different ways, to each side and front to back so a hole helps the alignment then you fill the hole. Plus it's easier to work on that way.

Nice truck Landry, are those peep mirrors mounted lower, looks like youd see better than up high.

Updated photos of my 1960 f100 4x4. Still need to swap out the drivers door and front fenders and bumpers and have some mechanical work left to do.

Thanks. Yeah there some sort of peep mirrors. They came on the truck when I bought it. I'm looking to do some oem door mounted ones. I'd like some visibility from my mirrors

Oh man, could you please post another picture of that cross member...close up. My truck has that cross member but has been cut away in the middle for engine/transmission. I need to see what I'm missing. I prefer to make the chassis as strong as it was so need some help.
    thanks...

Here's a few camera phone shots of it right side up. PM me your e-mail and I'll send you some more shots.

The previous owner modified the crossmember when the engine and transmission was upgraded to an 8BA. It's pretty solid, all I plan on doing is cleaning up the welds and squaring it up.

This is the front clip off my f100. My kid is doing an FFA project and her turkey out grew the cage that it was in. It needed to move outside and this became a Redneck shelter.

  20. Thats what I thought at first, then I found all the hardware and trim for a sunroof in the cab under all the trash lol. Probably had the sunroof idea after the chop

Wow what was the drivetrain in this one? Do you go to the Nationals in Pigeon Forge?

Anyone know what kind of non-original bench seat will fit nicely in these trucks? I sold the bench out of mine before I started building it?

Good to know. I've got a bench out of a old Econoline thats almost wide enough, but doesn't tilt forward. Currently I've got a S10 bench in the truck that is about 3 inches too narrow on either side.

I can't remember what the drivetrain was, but I'll check if I see the truck again.

I Haven't been to the Nations in Pigeon Forge yet. Is it worth it?

In my personal opinion for where you and I live if you go up for the day on Friday or Saturday you would have a good time. It is best place to see the most F1-F100's in the US along with part suppliers. But spending more than 2 days I think is overkill. Just my opinion.

I agree with Tacson. The F100 Supernationals is a great place to see a lot of great trucks. I plan on making the trip this year.
