anyone blocked off power valve on a 671 blower

    everyone talks about the boost ref power valves i want to here from people with out power valves what a good starting point for jets and center squirters

    Blocked mine, you ever put a vacuum gauge at the base of the carbs? with the vacuum that the blower is going to make it will make the jets seem bigger. But for a ball park figure, 6 to 8 jet sizes when blocking a pv. Then watch your plugs and tune from there.

    Jet sizes would depend on what carbs you are running...........................

    On a street driven car you'll stay over rich a majority of the time in order to get it right the minority of the time under the conditions the power valves would normally open. Since the boost reference deal is so simple, I wonder what's your objection?

    I agree. If your 750s aren't already boost referenced, it's a pretty easy mod to the baseplates to have it. Well worth the effort for the better drivability and (gack!) economy.
