In the old days we just used a chain! Just make sure the car has brakes so you can keep the chain tight.

I leave this Friday from So Cal heading to Viva for one day then to Bob Owens place in Wellington (Flat Top Bob) then to Austin. God am I ready to hit the road!

We have been on the road since Monday.
Taking the long way from D/Fw to Austin, via Viva Las Vegas.
3000k miles doing as much Route 66 as we can.
and doing it in 2 Ranch Wagons, a 1959 and 1960.

Johnnie and i put in a pretty big day today .he got the motor close .i pulled the fender and inners apart .Johnnie primered them .Pulled the mock up motor and started on the fire wall.
