Anybody happen to have a set of b-pillars/door posts kicking around? I'd love a fresh set to make up for all the ugly I built into the ones on the car. I can fix them, but they are gonna be a lot of work

I'd use as little of the EMS patch panel as possible. look at the door jamb area, the original corners are much more sharp. no need to go that high up either unless you have damage that can't be seen in the picture.

It was wavy and had tons of holes that don't show in the pics. I do wish I had left the factory door jam in place. Maybe I will put it back. Live and learn I guess....Going to do the driver's side today, so I will be a little more picky about where I cut that one.

I don't remember where I ordered the first piece from, the rest came from EMS directly. Cutting the whole passenger side out was a mistake. But we were able to make the folds in the jam more crisp, then we cut off and re-broke the bottom seam so that it matched the rocker seam. It was all good after that. The curve and wheel arch openings are tits, so the piece is still pretty darned nice.
On the drivers side, we only cut what we needed, so that went much faster. I'll get some pics up in the next couple of days.

Got some more done this weekend. The driver's door is almost finished, I got new bag plates and risers made for the front. I also tore the trunk down and got it shot with splatter paint. Depending on when the baby comes this week, I might actually get the trunk back together and finish the wiring.

Looking good, Erik did you use any bottom door panels from EMS. I don't have a brake so I don't think I can get a straight bend for the door bottom. Seems like the bottom door panel will be the best bet. Keep thrashing.

I did not use any EMS door panels, mine are pretty decent, thankfully. I do have an inner rocker for the driver's side if anybody needs one.
49, sounds good. I should be ready for the windshield in a couple of weeks. I figure I won't be sleeping with the new baby anyway, so I may as well try to thrash on the car. Last night I got the trunk put back together and started laying out the wiring and module placement for the AccuAir E-level system. TONS of wiring, but it should go pretty quickly.

A couple of shots of my recent work. Been doing mostly bodywork for the past couple of weeks, so not much worth looking at there.
I broke down and went with the AccuAir E-Level system. I got the sensors installed and working (PITA to make sure they work right and don't bind/break) and its really cool. Worth the $$, in my opinion. It did it's learning thing for about 10 minutes and it works awesome.
Here is a shot of the trunk, I just need to wrap and secure the wiring in there.

Also a shot of the grille. I removed the stock center bar and fit up a 53 Corvette bar and teeth in its place. This is the first time I have ever done anything like that and I think it turned out pretty well.
My first child (daughter) arrives tomorrow, so I imagine it might be a couple of weeks before I get back on the car. I will have it out and about this summer though!

Got the dash rattle canned with duplicolor green flake, installed my tail lights, punched holes in the bumper for the exhaust and finished the wiring for the trunk. All in one hour bursts while my wife and new daughter slept!

Thanks guys. I am thinking of finding 2 or 4 more teeth and fitting them on the lower side grills. Might be cool. Ill try to mock something up

    The grille looks great, Erik.

Was ditching the Buick tail lights a stylistic choice?
Any photos/info on finishing the rear fender tops?

It's been a long time, but do you still have the extra spare tire well?

Congratulations on the car, and the daughter!.
