Just found your build and read through it. You've done a heck of a job in just a short period of a time. I'm working on a 61 Uni too and I have a few questions if you don't mind. Could you give me some details on your rear set-up (like the measurements of C-notch)? And did you run parallel or triangular link? What sized tires are you running?

  2. Im building an off topic 69 Chev panel truck and the barn door windows are red plexi. I wanted the door windows red too but didnt want them plexi. So where do you get red tint for glass? I had no idea you could do this.

Super build you have going there. Im going to show it to a buddy that has a similar truck.

I have some pics I'll try to post later.
If I remember correctly the notch was a total of 10"
I built the 2 link system in it

It took some time to find a supplier that was not too expensive,as most market thier tint to commercial buildings with the colors.

I found a local tint shop that had a connection and got it for me. I had to buy a whole roll, but it was reasonable. It scratches really easy. Jacks with your eyes big time also.

    Thanks fellas!

The truck rides and handles so well that I don't think chassis wise I'd change much. I will be hopefully putting a 5 speed in it and then a posi 9 ".

The rendering looks real good of your truck. How much does something like that cost, if you don't mind me asking?

Did you get a chance to find any pictures of your rear set-up? Really interested in seeing how you did it.

On the mustang II front end did you use the 2 inch drop spindles? I hate to keep bothering you, but all the responses are appreciated.

Awesome build. I like the use of the Mustang parts. Dad has Mustang seats in his Model A sedan too! I have a 62 uni i am about to start on. I have a question on the bed floor. what is the hump at the cab? Can you post a picture or 2 of the bed floor opened up?

The hump,I'm guessing is the drive shaft hoop that comes through the stock bed flooring, or where the torque box was notched and plated for drive shaft clearance in the cab.

I do not have any open floo pics handy righ now. I will post some in a few days.

    Thanks for the good words!
