Love it!! What frame did you use?

  2. Thanks for the kind words. :)

The front half of the frame is a 32 Chevy pickup and the back half is 31 Pontiac. I found some 2.25" rear springs from an 80's Dodge power wagon that were the correct eye to eye. I lowered the front by modifying the axle mounts and putting it above instead of below the springs. I added some springs for the hemi and had the front re-arched some. Here are a couple more pics.

Building 32 pontiac 5 window. Still on factory frame, but will need some boxing to run BBC and stepped powertrain. Like these cars ...especially with a haircut.

Ya, I was gonna build a 31 Chrysler but the guy I bought it from reneged on the deal and would not accept my $2000.00. So I went back to the original idea. A 31 Chevy. Fords are relatively easy but Chevys are a challenge.

:D WOW! SWEET!! RIDE! I almost got a 32 body but the owners were weird. I offered $1700.00 for the body they declined and 5 months later they ended up selling it for 1200.?? Didn't even call me and I kept in touch via email every other week form my original offer.

This is my '55 Chevy, a newbie compared to what you guys have! Pulled the original 235 and installed a mild 292 with a built 2004r. Work in progress!

What did you do to get the T5 to bolt up to the 292. I am working on putting a T5 on my 302 any suggestions on what needs to be done re: adapter to make them fit?

If you have a gm WC T5 out of a Camaro/Firebird it will bolt right up to your 302. Then if you are putting it in a 20/30's car you might need to do a tailshaft swap with an S10 T5 to get the right shifter placement. You can use the search feature and find plenty of info on doing this mod. Hope this helps.
