Where are you guys getting the repro globes? Are they plastic, or ? I just picked up two tokeims. One has a base for a globe and the other has a blockoff plate.

GPH is a good source. I use Confederate pump co. in Roswell GA 770 587 1822....They take good care of me--known Lee Pergl for years. Lee and his brother pretty much pioneered repro globes. Good folks, ask for Kelley--she's a pistol. Repop globes are plastic bodies with glass lenses, but there are also metal bodies available

Hey Mickm, Here's some pics of my popcorn vendor which appears to be like Ole Chevy's except for the paint color. I got mine over 30 years ago from a local Gulf gasoline station. This unit is NOT designed as a popper, but merely vends the warm popped corn that has been poured into it. The popcorn is kept warm by heating rods in the metal tray beneath the corn and the heat from the light bulb. You drop a dime in the machine and it dispenses a paper cup into the lower door area and fills it with warm corn. The only issues that I have had was locating a source for the discontinued 14 oz paper popcorn cups. The cups cannot have a wax coating (like drinking cups) or they will stick together due to the warmth of the machine. I was fortunate to locate a NOS case of cups on an auction site and bought all of them. I should not ever have a shortage of cups for my machine! I use the machine whenever I have buddies drop by the garage for parties or bench racing sessions. They get a kick out of watching the cup drop and fill in front of them. The smell of fresh, hot popcorn in the garage is awesome! Jim
Kick ass! That is the only other popcorn machine like it I have ever seen. Don't know if ours works, belonged to one of my partners before we went in to start up the shop.

Dang, Jozw30 - here I was thinking I had something original! This 1956 Tokheim 300 started out as a Shell diesel pump - nasty and weighed a ton. Now it's basically a lamp/gas pump, appropriately in the dining room.
