Can someone please point me in the direction of a thread that will help me figure out what car I have? I was told it is a 1936 Plymouth 4Door and now have paperwork that says its a 1937 Plymouth.

Google the year and make and then hit images. Do it for both years. This is not fool proof because people make mistakes but if there are more than one that matches you can feel safe as to what you have.

 

I have tried googling them but they look very similar. I am trying to upload photos but its not letting me for some reason.

You probably just need to resize them or something.

 

I found an excellent website that was not coming up before on my browser. www.ply33.com will help anyone.

As for the pictures, I was doing what the prompts told me to do and was just telling me that the pictures were failing to load. Nothing about resizing them or anything. I'll try it anyways and see if it works.

 

Keep in mind that the car may have been built in late 1936 and didn't get sold or registered anywhere until sometime in early 1937. This could possibly account for the confusing paperwork. Pictures would help, 'cause if my memory is right (doubtful), the '36 and '37 were noticibly different.

Ok. the car has an all metal roof. Thank you all for the help. I looked at some pictures from other cars and found the serial number and put it all together and came up with the following:

1937 DeLuxe Plymouth 4 Door Sedan

 

....but we still don't have a picture

 

I still can't get these pics to load. But I'm still working on it.

The error says that a security token is missing. I sent in a request. Any other ideas?

 

the image files are huge, you need to resize them before you can upload them to the forum.

Thank you for the help. I tried to crop them down and compress them but it just wasn't working for me. Big learning curve with a Mac. :/

 

So there she is with the help of squirrel. Thank you. I hope you all like. Wife says I can't start on her till I get my other car done so she's going to hang out in the garage till then.

 

I think the problem is that the mac software assumes you don't want to know complicated things like the file size or pixel size. Not that I have anything against them, they're great for their target market.

put the pictures on your desktop, click on each picture to make it big, then click "tools". click size, then click percent.
