More models for the faithful followers ........ Mopar Madness built by fellow HAMBer FC59 And a little bit of "arty farty" Enjoy your viewing Rod
This is the dash for my current build. The original dash is a 1990 Corvette dash, seen in the lower part of the first pix. It's OK, but I thought I'd try something different. I'm going to use the dash from a Dodge Sidewinder show truck. I think it carries the front end styling. It was too wide, so it had to be narrowed. I couldn't just cut the ends off, so I had to section it in two places. I used the steering column and pedal assembly from the original Wagon Rod kit. The steering wheel is from a watch. I think it looks period correct. The flip down central navigation/infotainment center cover/drink holder is made from a leftover piece of the original grill. The knobs are painted period ivory. At the bottom of the second pix you will also see some floor mats that I made.
That 3 wheeled dragster is amazing as is the work in progress models. Here's my 1/8 scale sprinter I started a few weeks ago. It's my work in progress.
TP I use Parts by Parks prewired distributors as for the wire looms the ones I am using, I can't find any more, But detail master has some nice ones

I broke my heel bone skiing a month ago. Heres a few models Ive been building to pass the time. http:// http:// http:// http:// http:// http:// Its a lot of fun and something I think I can get serious about. Awesome builds on here are great inspiration!
^^ Nice... I especially like the '53 F100 and the '49 Ford. This is my entry for the '32 build off - got some paint on it the other day.
Damn! Nice stuff folks! Because I'm back into the real cars(after MANY years in the bike world),I'm also back into the models. Decided late last year to try again,to see if I still had mad skills or just bad skills. Did a lot of contest cars back in the 1980's,then got into 1/43 scale and after over 200 of those, got burned out. Chose,as the first serious attempt, the older Lindbergh '64 Dodge, and decided to do it as a current NHRA Stock Eliminator car. I didn't get into correcting the numerous flaws;I'll do that on the next one. So,after a 20 year hiatus: It came out better than expected, but not as good as I had hoped. A learning experience, and like the real thing, one can only improve.
With flair and dignity and a little bit of luck But if it crashes and the driver looses his head, all we gotta do is glue it back on. Now, dont ask me anymore silly questions Rod
Cool stuff,I spent the day adding halibrands from 32 hotwheels 1/16 th scale to a 29 roadster of the same scale,Bodyworked transmission pan real car and painted some parts for the 32 model build off,I havent figured out what my fascination is with models ,But I dig them,,,Keep posting away ,Great stuff as usual
