Does anyone know outthere if the cab and front fenders on a 48 Chev
1 1/2 ton grain truck are the same as the cab and front fenders on a 1/2 ton pick up? I have found my fathers first grain truck he purchased new in 1948 and wouldlike to take the cab and front end and transplant on to a s-10 frame. I just am not sure if the sheet metal is the same as the half ton?

    thanks

Actually the fenders / hood will work but you will have a BIG opening for the wheel well .. I have seen these fenders on lowered truck with big crome wheeels and tires ... ugly in my opine
