Vintage shots from days gone by!

Dad started out after the war with the 1940 Packard coupe, seen here with his fiance (my mother). Taken down in Florida (St Pete area). I'm not sure if it's a 110 (6 cyl) or the 120 (8 cyl) as he's not around to ask and Mom doesn't remember. The second pic is of the 1948 Packard he traded the coupe for, in order to have more room for the kiddies (my oldest brother seen in front of the car). These were the last Packards my Dad owned. Although he always loved the make, he moved on to Fords when he bought a new 1954 Ford wagon for the growing family.

 

I went to a friend's great grandmother's 90th birthday party and there were a few pictures they had displayed on a board from back in the day. Here are a few. Date unknown and I believe they were from the DFW area.
