    i hope i get a chance to get miss leading out before the 31st just to try to use everything she has to offer. i know we didn't find her full potential last trip.

    Well it looks like I am going to miss this one as well, the engine is getting rebuilt as we speak, then I just have to worry about the rest of the drivetrain holding togther for a while

    I was in Greeleyville SC tonight. Had to go to Andrews for a funeral.

    I think that I may just ride down in one of the DEUCES and see what is happening :D

    As I have been down the quarter mile a couple hundred times.
    BUT ... It has been 10 years or more since the last pass. :D :D

    I personally was present 40 years ago when Deuce Roadster was making passes down the 1/4 mile at less than 11 seconds!

    There was a time when he was known as "The fat man with the fast hand" due to his skill with the Hurst 4-speed shifter!

    40 years later, he's no longer the "fat man", but I suspect he may still possess the "fast hand". But that's irrelevant too, as I believe both the Roadster and the 3-Window have automatics in them! ;)
