Anybody hurt in that wreck?

    Finally got the '56 Ford dirt track car home this past weekend.
    Raced at Caney, KS and the old Dewey, OK tracks.
    Rolled in 1970 and set ever since.

  4. what are your plans? has it been shortend ? looks like the roofs been cut down and welded back together that car has been sitting as long as ive been alive

    There were piles of these wrecks outside many country tracks all across the nation. Looks like you found a nice restorable example.

    This is why I love this place. Right now a half a dozen guys have seen that and are thinking "Yeah no problem".

    +1 But they say one guys junk is another guys treasure. I want to see him beat that body back straight enough to paint and letter rather than hacking up another 55/56 Ford to redo it.

    I like the brake cooling vent above the front wheel. Like my old daddy says "That thing's been hit more times than Joe Louis".
