Model A rearend question

    Stock '30 Model A rear, '39 Ford pass car trans. I'm having a problem getting torque tube in u joint. Any tips, tricks, will be appreciated.

  3. When I did this I also had trouble getting the u-joint to go on the drive shaft. I ended up taking the u-joint off of the trans and putting it on the drive shaft and marking it. Then I bolted the u-joint back on the trans and was able to line the drive shaft up alot easier.

    That sounds pretty much like the way we done it, and it is a lot easier if you enlist a pair of helping hands as well.
