Ok,which are better,Diamond Back wide whites,or Coker.I'm trying to decide if I should put whites on the car,I always like them.
My own oppinion..no white's. I really dig white walls, i have them on 3 car's, but your's looks so right without to *me*.. Very cool car either way honestly. But to answer the question, i have Coker's on 2 car's, both 'rods and both bias ply's. My complaint with these are they didn't balance out that great and the white wall's are yellowing. I have a set of Diamondback's on my 53, and those are radial's. I can't tell you much about them yet, i havn't driven the car...but i've heard very good thing's about them, thats why i bought those this time.
I got whites on mine, but i like it either way.....The ultimate is having a set of both.......Kinda like changing clothes
run whites on one side and blackwalls on the other! I dont know about coker.. but the diamondbacks I have are actually off the shelf radials with the white vulcanized on.. so I know that my hair brained idea will work sawzall jeff
I'm being truthfull. I really like the look of it. it's simple and to the point. In my eye's, the white wall's will take away the overall visual of the car, and instead of seeing a kick as car as a whole, your eye's are going to be drawn to the bright white tire's first.. One of the car's i have the bias ply's on is a 32 3 window. When i put them on, i really liked them..And i still do like them, but sometime's i wished i left the blackwalls on it just for the reason i mentioned.
I think the white's look better. I have 2 sets of Diamondback WWW radials on my cars, and they look great, ride smooth, and hold their color well.
