What a fun forum! I'm sure I'll lose sleep - can't seem to stay away. (Is there a twelve step group to deal with HAMB addiction?) Been retired for a few years and am trying to get myself moving on rebuilding a '32 Ford 5w I bought in '63 (yes, that's 1963!). It was originally a nearly full fendered car (tank removed and rear fenders bobbed) with an early chromed Hemi, a '39 Ford box with Lincoln Zepher gears, '40 ford juice brakes front and back and rearend. Like a dumbarse I sold the hemi sometime in the '70's planning to put a built 289 in it. It's now an engineless roller which, by the grace of God, will become a fenderless hiboy. BTW, went to visit elpolaka today (hope I have that name spelled right). I thought my nipples were going to get hard walking around his shop and listening to him talk gearhead 'porn'. This guy knows 'jack' and is eager to share. He was amazingly gracious with his time with this shiny faced newbie. And the '32 3w he is building is a thing of beauty! Thanks for letting me join... bob
Welcome from Kansas. If I remember correctly, you are almost in Shakey Puddin's back yard. That 55 gasser is outstanding.
