Perfect proportions

Need I say more? Post pics of the cars that you think have them. Here are a few of my favorites pulled from random places on the net.

 

I'm not much good at the picture gig, but most everybody here already knows what a '49 Styleline Deluxe Coupe looks like anyway. For my money it's a simple garden variety working mans mass-prod auto that is right up there with some of the swoopy big$ icons of the automotive world, if it's proportions you're talking! Sweetness right off the showroom floor, or if you want to drop it a touch, fine!

I can think of a number of others, but that's the first one that comes to mind..

The '30 Tudor I am building, which is all about proportion. Building the car with a picture in mind versus building it first then styling it has been interesting departure from my normal way of thinking.

Good examples. I might have to add a stock un chopped merc to the list. At one time they actually existed and I think they looked good.

Here is my favorite and it is what I am loosely following on my own 31' Chevy coupe build. Definitely not "just another pile of parts" but a masterpiece. Simply bad arse!

 

I said in my post that I like'm chopped, HARD. Maybe you could POST SOMETHING, instead of talkin' shit on my taste.

Pretty close to perfect.....but some may not like it.

 

What? That would look silly. This car is perfect.

 

My all time favorite "stock" body style car is a 56 Ford and 55-56 Mercury Hardtop. Here's a 55 Merc mild custom by Ayala, fucking perfect.

To much off the top to be here. Henry had it right, my opinion if you build a coupe, lower it and leave the body.
