looking upgrade my m/c in my meadowbrook to a dual resevoir. right now all i can find os for disk brake conversions, but im running drum. anyone do this?
you'll have to buy or build a pedal mount bracket / master cylinder bracket. The original master carries the pivot shaft and pedal, so when you do away with it you have no pedal. Butch's Cool Stuff can fab you up a nice bolt on street rod style that will take either manual or power, or you can build something. I've gone two ways on fabrication-- one way is to gut the stock master, run a long rod through it, to a new fabricated mount that carries the master you pick. The second way is to fab a new mount that bolts to the stock holes and weld the stock pivot shaft to it. I welded a new tab to the stock forged steel pedal, so from inside the car it looks stone stock.
