Does anyone know where to source a stainless spreader bar for the rear of an original 32 frame? The original frames have the oval spacers welded to the inside of the frame and the standard 39 1/2 inch bar will not fit. These bars are made for aftermarket frames. Any thoughts would be appreciated.

I got an aftermarket one from the LA Roadster show and it worked fine in my original frame. It was a little tight, but it fit.

It shouldn't be hard to have someone weld one up out of stainless tubing if you can come up with the ends. One of our resident welder/fabricators who works with stainless might even be able to build one for you.

If it's close, bump it with a porta power.
