Today I got paintjob ready. It was "small Christmas" after long 5 month working with body and frame.

  6. Love that color and the '39 dash!

Looks similar to this one I saw at Columbus in 2010.

I have give instruction and pictures from 40´s - 50´s rod interiors when I left tempered 1939deluxe sofa + plywood panels there.

If you are using that WWII oxygen tank as a fuel tank...it only holds about 6 US gallons.

I was think that it takes 25-30litre and if You say 6 gal = little under 25litre.
    That´s enough for 80-100miles, OK.

    Good Morning Steve,
Cam not arrived yet, but it will come just right time! I try to do all "dirty jobs" ready before I start to go over engine and rear end.
Maybe engine has been done before I bought project from Norway. I was look with ledlights and mirror inside and there are new Isky springs, SS valves and hollow lifters,... if Im lucky, need only change that old Harman&Collins cam and look all over,...

Rear end will be bigger problem. I have bought new 3.25:1 ring and pinion (´35 and later) and I have decided to fit it inside 1932 original rear. I also pieced rearaxle yesterday and I can say that before I have had 39 and later rear axles and those are very much different system inside like this ´32 axle,.... but ,,... hot rodding idea is that You must have different ideas and sometimes those take very much time and planning,... For example pinion gear must cut, make new thread, bore hole thru for driveshaft and make keyway thru, . Have somebody done that job earlier?

Tranny I opened yesterday before come out from garage and it was like brand new.
I was lucky because both cars (1932 and 1939 deluxe) have been 40-60years pieced in barn (norway) and all parts are very good condition and maybe not so much kilometers behind.

What size luan did you use? My auveeco clips fit like shit and that's after opening them up a bit because they would not fit at all on 1/8" thick luan. I'm almost convinced that trim screws are going to replace those damn clips!!!

    Roadster looks awesome!!

    Thanks.
Panels are plywood (4mm = + 1/8") and corners are steel. I made using englishwheel, so can have curved corners both ways.

Clips I bought from C&G Early ford Store (escondido, CA), B 20015 - door upholstery clips - few dollars 50pc.

I like that Brown roadster very much. Black interior and wheels with hub caps makes it very very nice. Color is also "timeless", classic!

Is that dash + steering column 1940 ford?

Small roundend ganister is old toolbox. Maybe from tractor, old catepillar, car,...I do not know what it´s originally, but looks good and rather good shape.

  28. LowA100's car has a '39 dash. Column drop is a '40 piece.
