How many wives / Girlfriends follow the HAMB

Not always the case though, sometimes i"ll send her links showing different techs and cars and stuff. She really digs the hamb.

 

I do want to apologize for the crude and sometimes very straightforward comments I/we make here on this forum,I know a lot of it is G.rated but its who we are.

Mine knows about the HAMB, but doesn't really know what its all about, nor does she care to. But as long as I spend a equal amount of time with her, it's all good.

I'm probably the only wife on here that was here before I met my husband Jthepburn76 who joined after we started dating.

 

GF has no interest yet loves older cars- but likes it if I can fix her car so does not bother me about how much time I spend here- and I don't bother her about how much
time she spends on geneology and polish language studies (so she can do even more
geneology in Poland.) Any relationship has to have some give and take- only took me
2 ex-wives to figure that out. Cars are easier......

 

Cars are a passion to me. They have been since grade school. There's nothing better in my mind than the sound of horse power and and the smell of nitro. I'm on here alot if not posting than checking everything out. I love it here.

I spend a lot of free time on here and the garage journal. She doesn't like it that I do so, but I think she thinks its better I spend time one here than sitting on a bar stool someplace!

My last live in GF thought I was looking at porn when I was actually on car forums and on Ebay. She would try sneaking up on me to catch me in the act, but I would see her coming and turn off the screen real fast. It drove her nuts and I kept doing that just to get her goat a little.

I have no idea why we aren't still together.

Mine does not....she's on Facebook (not a fanatic) and pintrest? (I think that's what it's called).....she also thinks its a guys Facebook....over Christmas she ordered some swag from Ryan, after the presents were open she tells me....."you know they swear on that site?" to which I replied...."you know where my mouth goes when I work on the truck...."

Her response....."yeah, I guess that makes sense then..."

LMAO - i do this to my wife - and yes i get the same reaction - but hey i gotta get some fun out of life. On the serious side I do give in now and again and ask her opinion over something on the HAMB and she is understanding - makes the choices on how I build a car easier.

My wife never looked here except one time last year.....I took photos of her gapping rings,torquing bolts and other stuff during the engine rebuild of her 51 Willy PU.She wanted to make sure I didn't show photos of her dirty face,I didn't like a good puppy dog.This is a woman who likes old trucks and hot rods.Who drags me twice a year to the local mud boggers event.When our grandson got his driver learner permit,she shoved him in the 50 Chevy pu "let's see you drive a stick " This woman only drives manual trannys ,thinks auto trannys are for drivers with a bad leg...............
She looks at the Book of Faces but not here....She says the HAMB is all just guys talking engines and bullshitting

My wife is pretty interested in what I read on here, I share with her from time to time and tell her about it. She likes looking at the cars so she'll get on here and look at the forums with all the pictures

Anyone started the "HOT WIVES / GIRLFRIENDS OF THE HAMB" yet? haha... saw that in the Linda Vaughn thread and had to run a search to see if anyone had, haha thats how I found this.

Apparently my wife does not check in on the HAMB. If she did she would know I was building her a '53 Chevy, and as of yet she just rolls her eyes when I ask her about a color for the interior, or what-have-you. To my knowledge she just thinks I'm asking about colors etc. for the OT Galaxie I'm building, and which she couldn't care less about. I've managed to keep it from her for three months, so if she knows about the Chev she isn't letting on. She'll know Tuesday though...

I've even left my build thread up on my screen a few times, but I don't think she's even paid any attention to it. She doesn't know shit about cars except how to break one, so when parts show up for the '53, I just tell her they're for the '66. End of conversation.

Yeah, I'm pretty sure she's never checked out the HAMB.

 

My wife will look when I make her and even then she is like "why are you showing me this"?!?!? But she does like looking at the photos and now that she wants a milk truck built for her she is coming around a bit. LOL
