GARAGE ART: What'd you build?

    Get some clear plexi grill bars and put LED's in them and make them glow ;)

  3. made this clock out of a chrysler 300 hubcap and pinstriped it.
    and a painted little sign for my buddy on a rusty panel I found sitting around.
    I have 2 cabinets I built that I thought were pretty cool I have to take pics of them sometime.

    I am currently learning how to live alone and she got the furniture so I am borrowing some ideas from here to make the ulitmate GUYS home:eek:. Here is a table that still needs glass and some touch up.

    The red one has more style, the white one is boring but will give you a brighter, whiter light.

    Maybe scan/print some old oil can ads and decoupage them on the shade?

    Thanks for the ideas. Those are pretty good. I have five more cans I'm going to do for the new house. Thanks again I like it.

    You know what would look really cool is a fiberglass lampshade from the 50's. They come in all different colors and shapes. I've got a vintage lamp with one AND I just bought two more fiberglass shades at an antique store in Florida for lamps I plan on making out of car parts in the near future.

    God my brain hurts there are so many freakin kool ideas! I gotta get some neon done. In about a month I'm breaking ground on my garage. I can't wait to do some wall art. I have some headlights & a 33 ford grille to start with. I'm never getting any sleep tonight.:D

    ^^^^^^^^Thats awesome. That is my next project I'm looking for. Going to glass shelves inside of it and keep my stereo and DVR controls. Very cool job.

    There is some very clever stuff here,,,gives me an idea for my merc tailgate since everyone who contacts me to buy is only interested in stealing it. They tell me they'll send a money order,,,then I tell 'em i'll ship when I got the cash in hand and they disappear
    So far the camshaft towel rack,,too cool and the gmc footboard,,
