I received another picture with the tailgate. It is not stamped with a name in it. Is that normal for Dodge/Plymouth

With the steel floor and the stake pockets shaped like that- definitely 36-38 mopar- either dodge or plymouth- dodge went back to wood box floor in 39.

Looking for opinions as to whether this would work with a 30/31 Chevy pickup cab. I'm looking to piece something together and was wondering if this would look ok. Without actually putting them together its hard for me to fully visualize. AND, does $100 sound fair?

I like the idea...$ 100.00 is fair , look for rot out in the stake pockets and edge where the floor meets the sides . Once painted hardly any one will know its origin . besides its a HOT ROD !

the stantions on the side look like Dodge, Studebaker, or a few International. But I'm pretty sure that the IH & Stude beds were longer than the one you have, so my vote is dodge

I have a 48 kb1 shortbed that has a 6' bed on it but that one looks more like one in the 30s---34 or 35,36

Cool. I hope to see it in person tomorrow and probably buy it. I don't see too many 30/31 Chevy beds around. Did they make them in those years or were they all flatbed/stakebed/home made jobs?

  16. 34,5,and 6 had square rails and a diamond shape on the stantions for the IHC. I would say Dodge.
