    made a little more progress on this one in between other cars and work

    passenger floor made up, with battery trays

    original rotten floor ready to be removed

    thanks for the kind words fellas. here is the kicker, i am 25, and opened my shop full time when i was 20. i tend to get people coming into the shop looking for my dad or grandpa. that is always an awkward conversation

    more progress made on the coupe today. got a dago drop axle in for the car. and got it rolling supporting itself. here are the pics at the end of the 6th day of work this car

    Hey cornfield, thinkin about making a alum. insert for my grille , I see that you did this. question is " does it let enough air in w/ no cooling issues?

    i have never had any over heating issues with the ones i have done and shipped that i know of. just as long as there are enough holes and are decently sized i would say you would be fine

    Damn nice work Corn. I watched your YouTube video of you making a pleated design firewall I guess it was. Very cool. I finally got my machinest buddy to make me a tipping die after observing yours in the video.
    I do have a question....Do you make your belling dies for flaring the panel holes or did you purchase one of those expensive sets?
    I'm very glad to see a young man using his skills to open and operate a hot rod shop. Its got to be a tough business start and you seem to be doing well. Congratulations and Good Luck!

    i bought my dimple dies, there is a company that sells on ebay, i cant remember their name off hand. but they are a nice quality, and not as expensive as vansant. i have done 1/4 inch plate with no issues.

    Beautiful work! I really like the International tailgate and the wide fives on the black coupe.
