I had the vw rat truck.

 

I seen it and wanted to take pictures of it but every time I came around it there was always people around great looking buggy u got.

 

No problem. It was worth the drive for me I was coming from Friendswood a hour drive for me. You should make it next I am more into the rust looking cars don't get me wrong I also like the customs but I don't now we're near the cash to that.

The 50" I have I went to oriellyautoparts and bought 30 cans of flat black and went at it came out ok for a beginner all I need is to get pin strip on the hood and the trunk and call it a day.

BUT, 2 things comes to my mind where i heve to give you some feedback:
After flying from Finland to Florida (~20 hours) and the drive from Orlando with the crappy rental car (another 20 hours) I was not able to get a LONE STAR beer!
Holy crap, no Lone Star at Texas! Where is this world going?
Other thing is that we arriver to the show at ~2pm, (after a well spend morning at Sealy Nostalgia Drags, Thanks there also), there were only a M/L size event T-shirts available. As being a McNugget generation (42 y.o.) I would need a XL shirt.
If You make new ones or can find some I would like to purchace one, or actually 3 of us would have one. PM me or something if possible.
But, good show indeed, with some NITRO smell from Houston Hal, thank you very much!!!!

 

Yeah when I went up to the lady that was selling the shirts right of the back she told me that they only had small and medium shirts and I was well I wear small so that was good for me but not for others.

Sorry for not getting a shirt.

This was my first Hoedown. I had a blast!! Great music, great cars, great weather and great friends!!

Hey black, sorry I missed you, I was looking forward to meeting you. If you look above the center of the passenger door all the way in the back of the photo, that's me holding the beer in the black shirt. Racrdad on my left in the red cap and to my right (also holding a beer) in the grey shirt is JMD82 and JRACER1 is behind him in the black/blue ball cap. We almost met! HAHAHA! was another good hoedown... had to leave early due to medications messing with me..

 

Had alot of fun. Will be making this show every year now. I hope I actually have a car to take to the next one though. ha
