:rolleyes:Then keep ur hood closed & don't tell us what's under it! Just make like it's too dirty to open up to show, OR paint it Mopar Orange build covers around most of the motor to hide it....LOL!:D:eek:

I think its the style and drive ability of the car,if I have to change the frame and drive train to get it on the road to enjoy it,then that's what I'll do.this is the hamb not collectors corner. If I can keep it all mopar then that's the way to go,but there is a limit to money and availability to parts for some of these old gems.Resto mod is not a bad thing. It puts these old cars out there for us to enjoy safely.IMHO.sorry for the OT rant..

my 55 Plymouth work in progress, soon to start body work for paint. I started with the roof a blue/silver metallic PPG color, i like it so Im doing the body soon to match and take it to Mooneyes X-Mass party December 8th. Looking for fender skirts let me know if you have a set. Steel not fiber glass.

Anybody have a set of hood springs for a 1941 Plymouth? I'm in need of a set for a customers car.

I would love to be in your Plymouth club. I have a 1932 pb coupe. It is all steel and all Mopar. All my running gear is 1970 challenger. It has the 340 six pack and a 727 trans. I am working on the interior now. Need to find interior window frames. I got the rims from the 1954 Indy 500 Dodge. It has 1934 Plymouth tube axle with disk brakes. The running gear is complete except for the shocks. This car runs great though. I hope to get her painted this summer. I was thinking about satin black fenders with sassy green body. That just speaks Mopar I think. Oh yeah I had a hard time finding seats to fit but the 1965 cuda seats worked out great. The steering column is out of a 70 challenger. Thanks you guys. Have a great Christmas.

Thank you guys for letting me be apart of your club. It is so cool having other Mopar guys to chat with. Most of the guys around here have fords with Chevy motors or some kind of mix like that. I love building a car using all the same brand of parts. Anyone can order stuff out of a book but going to wrecking yards and looking for the parts you think will work and making other parts your self is the way hot rods were built back in the day.
