    hello all,

My name is Adam, I live in Wheeling, WV. I've been checking out the site for a while now for info on a few friend's cars, now I guess it's time for me to look for my ride. I just picked up a 1960 f100 shortbed today, and she's a bit of a rust bucket. Luckily the price was next to nothing, so it looks like I've got a bit of a project on my hands. I have a 78 f350, but I've never owned a truck this old before, so I'm sure I'll be digging for tons of info. The truck has a 223 in it, which hasn't run for quite some time i'm told, but i'm going to see if I can get some life back into her before swapping out for a 460 that I have in the garage. It's already been lowered a few thanks to a flipped axle up front. I haven't had time to get under the rear, but I'm towing it home this weekend, so I'll tear into it then. Any advice or tips on finding some decent sheet metal cheap would be awesome!

Adam, welcome to the H.A.M.B. Just look in all your local papers, Craigslist, and wrecking yards for parts. Remember that a lot of the parts other than fenders will fit off of 57-60 trucks, too.
