57 chrysler Need A Little Help Please

    A Friend Of Mine Is Rebuilding A 57 Chrysler Imperial And There Is A Remote Solenoid ( So The Book Says ) What Is It For And Where Do The 3 Hoses Go? The Hoses What Is Left Of Them Look Like That Oil Passed Through Them. Note Pix

    Bump Is There No One That Has Chrysler Repair Manuel That Will Help Me Out On This One.

    Someone at www.forwardlook.net would know for sure. I dont have any of that stuff on my 57 windsor

  6. Had a 57 Imperial with a 392 Hemi a long ago but don't recall the hoses in the picture. :confused:

  8. Factory air conditioning. The lines had engine oil pressure running through them. If I remember right, it prevented the A/C from engaging unless the engine was running. One hose is engine oil pressure. Another is the return to the engine (through thet valley cover or valve cover depending on engine). Third line goes to the A/C I think. Had that exact same solenoid on a 57 Saratoga parts car that I scrapped out years ago.
