I'm looking for an upgrade/direct replacement for a Borg-Warner T9 4-speed from 1969. I figured if anyone would know, it would be you guys :D

It's OT because it isn't car related.

  2. Pretty sure the T-9 was a 3 speed. It was replaced by the T-87.
The T-98 would be the four speed

    No the T9 is a 4-speed.

  4. The T-9 I know of is the non snyc truck 4 speed used by many truck brands into the '50's. The case is less than 10 inches long, it has a spot for a PTO.

The T-9, as used by IHC, was a sliding-gear transmission, rather than being equipped with synchronizers...as I understand it. The T-98 was the other 4-speed option used by International.
