Does anybody know of a fenderwell header that fits a 37-42 willys, BBC 10% set back? The cowl is cut back so the firewall is at windshield like Kiwi Kevs. The only headers I see listed are for 55-57 chevy and I don't want to buy them and find out they won't work. Has anyone used them? Thanks for any advise. Just trying to save from having to scratch build headers.

I bought the BBC fenderwell headers offered by Speedway. They worked out great and were inexpensive

  7. Ha ha, not what I was talking about, Speedway used to sell two kinds of fenderwell headers. They had the tri five set and a fat fender set which were Patriot's. I was going to post a link of them both but it looks like they only sell the tri fives now. They do show the fat fenders in a sbc though, must have not been a good enough seller.

Summit has these Patriots that should work well as long as your engine isn't mounted too high in the chassis. A friend of mine is using them on his '35 Plymouth with a big block Chevy. $230 Summit is a lot cheaper on their shipping too.

  10. The headers on your truck are the Patriot H8035-1 which were designed for 55-57 Chevy Big Block. Speedway may have listed them at one time as being "Fat Fendered" as you mentioned, although honestly I don't remember them doing that. Regardless, that is the Tri Five Header we make for them.

Love the car. I'm working on a sedan too. Mine has the 37 nose though.
