  23. Guy, the rest of the folks that made it happen are you and all the people that took the time to bring there cars out in the middle of the winter and hang out down town Detroit for four days.

I can't thank everyone enough for making this the best one yet for me..

Oh and thanks for getting me Buzzed on expensive Scotch before the awards. Sure made it easy to get up in front of all those people:D

Shoulda gone to the show, stayed home and did nothing all day.
Henry J belonged to Bill Waddill, a Michigan Hot Rodding pioneer from Flint. First guy from east of the Mississippi to win a class at Bonneville. I bought some speed equipment from Kustom Equipment back in the 50’s. Bunch of great guys over there in Flint.

That Henry J looks like maybe it has a Chevy in it now. It ran at the Nationals with a twin McCullough blown Chrysler Hemi. Neat car, neat guy. Read more at http://www.jalopyjournal.com/forum/showthread.php?t=63249

  28. Did anyone see the 1938 Ford pickup that Bill Waddill used to race in the 1960s and use as a push truck for his drag cars? We were there!!! And we won first place for Custom Rod Pickup 1935-47. It was so exciting and I did not have any scotch before I went up to the stage!!!
