    Hahahaha! I did go to autorama, but we took the daily not the coupe.... but I found some inspiration somewhere in detroit... came home and repaired the area above the decklid and a few other things too.

    Fixed the rotted header area. I sliced a piece of 16ga 1x2 in two planes lengthwise and welded it in for the inner, overkill... but what could it hurt. Then I bent up a long Z from 20ga sheet and tacked in to replace the shot outer skin.

    You may have noticed from that pic that the roof wasn't on the car...hehe... squint... hard.
