Apparently there is a market for all things fake..I don't get it.
I love womens breasts, SBC's, and Flathead Fords, but I don't want any of them fake..why would anybody?..yet, another unsolved mystery to me.

I must admit, the rad hoses go REALLY well with those...

isnt it the SBC guys telling the flatheads guys that flatheads are a dead engine?? Then they disprove it buy making flathead valve covers for the SBC..This is the nail in the coffin for the debate over SBC versus the flathead...flatheads just beat yo ASS

Not all things fake are bad ... plenty of people out there with false teeth. More than a few out there with prosthetic limbs. How many people over 50 still have their original hair color?

OK, this argument could go on forever ... my opinion regarding the flathead/SBC cover? Not my cup of tea personally, but I can totally see some people out there interested in the flathead look but really don't want to have to deal with cracked blocks, overheating, unreliability etc but still want the "flavor" of a vintage engine.

 

x2. get a flatty if you want the look. flatheads are badass. and the fact that every1 wants to hide an sbc in different ways is ridiculous. there bitchin motors too, just make your small block look good. i know every1 has one, but if you have it dont cover it up. its gonna start looking like new cars and there trash can lid engine bay covers.
