She is looking sweet!! My truck is lowered three in the front and four out back. I have problems getting the 235/75 on stock rims, out from the back. The tire hits the bed and the brake drum....pain in arse to get off. Any info on your rims would be cool. Thanks!

Try jacking up the truck by the frame one side at a time.. This way it will let the rear drop/sag down enough to get the tire and rim off;)

 Good one... For some reason I was stuck on jacking the truck up by the axle. Thanks for sending me in the right direction.

Mat I know I asked this before, but how did you lower yours? Was it mono leafs? or did you do a flip.. I'm still on the fence with the T-5 Swap, just trying to justify the cash to do it...lol

I also did the T5 swap behind the original 292. The truck cruises nice. I would definitely do it again.

Did you buy a swap kit for the T-5 or did you do the mod yourself.. I like the JAG IFS idea, looks like bolt in kit?

I got myself a WC T5 out of a Mustang and pretty much threw it in there. Actually, the way I did it isn't really a good method, but its held up okay. The bottom two bolt holes line right up, and I tapped out a hole into the bellhousing where a long bolt would reach from the driver's side top hole. So only three bolts are holding it in... and there is no tail crossmember... but it hasn't given me any problems at all, and I beat on it regularly.

The Jag swap is awesome. I'm so happy I chose it over the other IFS options. It was not a bolt in kit however. But the crossmember EASILY adapts to our frame, so I fabbed some perches that make it cradle the frame rails, and then drilled holes to bolt it in. It's totally overbuilt- just the way I like it. I have a lot of information about this swap if you are thinking about it. Can offer all my measurements and notes too.

If I ever get motivated to finish writing the tech article on the Jag swap, this is the first place I'll be posting it.

I've got a 61 f-100 and I will be using 15x7's in the front with BF Goodrich radial TA's 225/60 15 and the rear will have 15x10's with the same tire except they will be 275/60 15. the rims are reversed with a backspacing of 2 1/4 in the front and 2 3/4 in the back

Came out of a 1982 Jaguar XJ6. It's easy to get as it just unbolts from the car. But then you need to make it fit your chassis.

I went 275/60/15 in the back on 8's and 225/70/15's up front on 7's...Overall Im pretty happy with it them, axle flip in the rear and one of Sid's axles up front -2 leafs. I like the way it sits in the rear but the front still needs to drop another inch or so. I'm going to reverse the spring eyes this weekend and play with it a bit more!

Need pics of that jake! I was worried about going to a 275 on an 8 inch wide wheel and flipping my axle.

can we get pics of ur notch and stuff too?

I'm working on the notch this weekend, they tires and wheels went on late last night so I'll keep ya posted as it progresses! Ive only had the truck for a few weeks and trying to make it my own...Ive got plenty of clearance with 8's on 4 inches of backspacing, they were a mother to mount but we were able to get it done! With the axle flipped I have zero to no clearance between the axle and the rear frame rails.

yea I want to flip mine, step the tire up to the tallest that will fit and then eventually clip the front. What did you set ur pinion angle to? Definatly snag up some pics. For ur notch are you using DOM tubing or plates?

That is some good stance. My '68 has 225/70/15 on 7s up front, 255/70 on 8s out back. Still have to sort final height when it is back together. I'm hoping for something similar.

The blue truck ^^ does sit great but I just want to get as low as I can without having to but into the bed, I looked at a lot of trucks the past year and this was the more solid of the uni's Ive been able to find. It also had a 302/AOD combo which didnt hurt in the deciding factor...

I'm going to plate it, I bent up a few pieces of 1/4" x 2" flat bar the other day that Im going to surgically install lol
