Here is what I believe to be a London Ardun Head. I have a couple more pictures of the engine, one of the heads, and one of the oil pan. If you would like them, I can post them up, just let me know.

Thank you kindly J.J. :) ...That is a heck of a compliment and I am honored by it. Not to hijack, have you been following the "Re-build" on my roadster?

Here are some Stephens heads which, if you are into Flat Fours (I am) they make the best OHV coversions nowadays that I know of.

Wasn't it? Pheew! All fixed now!

No not as of now. They're just sitting there with the "made in Canada" scrubbed off waiting patiently for a little TLC. I might polish them and then blast them with soda to knock the polish down but still keep it clean looking.

Damn. I was wondering if I impregnated the metal with Gibbs penetrant to see if it would build a barrier to dirt and keep it clean looking. I wonder if that would work as well as they claim it to.

These are Alexander OHV Heads. I think they are great, but again, good luck finding a pair.

Anyone have anything else for me to add to my archives?

  24. Over the past 3 year I've slowly been collecting cool flatty bits and pieces (you know how it goes) for a mid to late 30's ford coupe. Which fingers crossed is in this years budget.

  25. I've even been toying with the idea of having a mcculloch vs-57 hanging off the side. I mean that air scoop is just asking for it.

Hell yeah! I like the Mcculloch idea, plus that scoop is begging. So what year are you looking into?

  27. The car? I'd love a 36 or a 38, but would settle for anything from 35 to 40.
