Well the titles true, but I can think of about 10 other ways this could have went. She wanted to test out lace and rattle can and get a feel for it. I told her throw it up on my trucks hood.

Now im trying to egg her on to do some very suttle lines around the lace, just tracing the indented edges. This is her first time putting any paint or anything like that on something other then plexi glass or a scrap fender. Im proud of her! What do you guys think?

    LMAO blue one.

I think its pretty tight, Hopefully in person it will look good. Im proud that she took the leap and started putting her stuff on a car or truck. Now if she would start laying some lines down we would really be in buisness!

That's a good girl you got there - mine wouldn't touch a car of mine with a 10 foot pole... which is probably a good thing now that I think about it.
    Thank you for your service.

If all she has striped on is panels, tell her to get on the real thing. It adds a whole new dimension. Nothing to fear....just do it.

jake- we are going to hit up my sisters bug. its a 69.

I told her worse case is we sand the truck and shot paint over what doesnt look right. Within the next 6 months the truck will be in one color so it doesnt look so hillbillyish so its like a clean canvas right now

  21. Not what I was expecting when I opened this thread. I thought "shit, the poor guy is deployed, and his wife totals his truck!"

Well, I'd say your wife's a keeper!! Good job Mrs. Shocker!

She did a good job, especially for a first timer. Too bad lace isn't the fad now, she might have to develope a sidejob if it was!

if we can figure out how to do it with real paint, the fad is comming back in the bike scene.

Just having the guts to try something is cool. Most of us don't for fear of failure. Good for her!
