Unknown Bubble Top Custom...Help identify please

Here is a pic that was taken apparently in 2002 judging by the date on the back. The wheels appear to be Halibrands with knockoffs. Does anyone have an idea as to what this was? It appears to have some injection stacks too. The word on the side is Veedel. Pic was found at a swap meet in Indianapolis. Thanks for any help you can give.

From what I can find it was last listed on ebay in Jan. 2011 for $75,000. Not sure if it sold.

I was the one who found the picture and few more while I was working the Super Sunday Show in Indy. Theres another 1/2 dozen pictures of other cars that seem to be part of the HI Winder car club from the 60's. I'll see If we can post them here.
