Conroe swapmeet is this weekend...Who's going?

I will be heading up there, thinking Saturday with idea there will be more vendors than late afternoon Friday.

 

Pretty much the same size as fall meet. I'll be out there hopefully if it isn't raining.

I'm really hoping the weatherman is wrong, but they keep changing their mind on when it's coming and what percentage. As usual they will hopefully get it wrong.

 

A wet day at a swapmeet is better than a good day at work any time....

Think the just of the rain supposed to hit late tonight. If i remember right the fair grounds has a covered area for those who want to escape the slight drizzle from time to time.

Just got back from taking a load out there, it seems to be filling up a bit, though I'm sure some will stay away because of the weather. I've got one of my 40 Chevy sedan projects out there on the trailer for sale.

 

I'm not and I live there. I'm still hung out in N.C. Wish I could make it in. It's good even if it rains. TP

 

I'll be making my way out there tomorrow morning. hopefully the rain stops. looking for some parts for my coupe build. If you see me say howdy

 

My first trip up there was this afternoon. I was very surprised how many people were selling up there, my kind of swap meet.

 

I got a 36 ford dash 120 bucks, a hilborn intake, chrome lug nuts for my supremes 20 bucks all in all awesome time, it made my trip from SA worthwhile

 

I sold out of all my junk....lots of buyers...Sunday should be s nice day

 

went out there for a several hours yesterday and going back again today. Yes it was muddy and fun.....

 

Plenty of Model A stuff, but nothing I needed. Friend got a nice Snapon bottom toolbox for $200 so wasn't a wasted trip. On the way back I stopped at he city wide garage sale near home and got a nearly new Edelbrock 1406 carb for $10. So a good day considering the weather.
