I have collected some pics of the Barney Navarro roadster and have the issues of the car from Rodder's Journal and the recent Rod and Custom . Anybody have any more pics and or details of the car? Suspension set up?
Ahhh an image thread devoted to my favorite Hot Rod!!! Nice! Rod and Customs did a feature a couple months ago.

Do you have any? The pics I have , have already been posted by others. As we all know, there is always somebody out there that surprises us with long lost info , stories and photos. If the car is still at the museum, I will visit and shoot some new ones.
One of my favorite cars of all time. Barney and Tom Beatty made quite a team. Thanks to Slim Pickens and Kiwi Kev for all the great pics! Here's the car when I saw it at the NHRA Museum.
I asked about the grille a while back when I noticed it on a few different cars from that era. All I remember getting as an answer was that Art had cast a limited number of them. It's definitely one of the best shaped noses out there.
I saw you thread doing a search Kevin. I agree the nose is perfect in my eyes. I am going for the same feel as best I can using some F1 rear fenders.
Art was the body man for Kurtis Kraft, he did a limited number of grilles and shells. I have heard numbers of 5 - 20, seems likely. These are the only cars I can think of that used the grille and shell. Cooper/Hayes '27 T Navarro Roadster Spalding Bros. T Dick Kraft's '25 T
Danny, I've got some more pics I took when I was at the NHRA museum a few years ago......I SERIOUSLY considered cloning the car, except that cloning just doesn't sit 100% with me. I was so in love with it that day. It's definitely influenced my own T roadster build.
Looking at Peddro's photos, I was a bit surprised to see the spring behind arrangement on the front end. That was not typical back then. Another oddity, if you will, is the right hand drag link.
Forgive my lack of knowledge on the Roadster, but if that is THEE Roadster, it was restored by Eric Sanders who past away about three years ago from Eugene Oregon. Yesterday I visited with Eric's brother who has his riley 4 ported 29 A Rpu. That was a treat!
