Safe as hell too, you can't get up much speed with flat tires. :D

mono leaf and spring under in the back. Maybe blocks too if you need them in the back. Then measure out for some cheaper monroe shocks over the parts counter and thats a start.

You can start by removing every other leaf in the front until you find the drop that fits your needs. You might not have the best ride but, if you get new shocks, it's not as bad. In the rear, run your axle on top of the leaf springs. I got spring perches for less than $20 from speedway, I think. I've seen guys run the axle right on top of the leaf springs. I feel safer with the spring perches and new shocks all the way around, I have kids. Thats the safest and cheapest way I've done it. It's around $100.

See if there is a spring shop in the area that can de-arch them. removing leaves works well and while you are at it smoothe the edges and use teflon liners between the the leaves. Makes the ride much smoother.

How will I ever unsee that.

De-arch the springs. Move the axles to the tops of the springs. You can do both safley, maybe I should say I can do both safely, I don't know your skill set.

dropped front axle, either get your dropped or buy a droped axle. You can also Z your frame on both ends, it has been done is not difficult.

There is a pretty long list of backyard ways to make it squat. Choose one and research it.

Springs and dropped axles are pretty available and straightforward methods that work. If you have some fabrication skill, moving the axles to the top of the spring will get a substantial drop for hardly any investment in parts, but will require some fabrication and welding.
