Discussion in 'The Hokey Ass Message Board' started by Nicke, Jun 23, 2005.

  1. hey crew,

again totally killer bike. one question from a bike ignorant rodder, why does everyone avoid front brakes? surely there must an alternative that strikes a cool compromise between form and the funtion of... err... not killing yourself :D Is there no finned Buick drum equvilant in bike-town?

Back in the day all you had a choice of is a big old drum or no brakes at all. This is just my opionion but I think disk brakes on a old school bike looks like shit.

I total agree with repoman. They build some cool shit.

Well, the original Panhead drums looks killer good, but when you strip a bike down like this, they get too big all of a sudden.

And disc breaks on those are about as cool as billet rear view mirrors on a chopped A-Ford.. Ha, ha I know you knew that allready!:)

I just love that paintjob on the tank! Hope to see it IRL this summer, maybe on Hot Rod Reunion or the Rat Fink Reunion?

Thinking of racing it down the strip on Hot Rod Reunion, not that it's all that fast but it would sure be fun. Well, we'll see. See ya there anyway?
