So, I’m still on my black and white hard film kick, and yesterday morning I woke up, grabbed my camera, and headed down to the speed shop to see if I could snag some good shots of the cars making the run. Pulling up, I knew this was going to be another great event, and it reminded me of how fortunate I am to live in Austin. I blew through about three rolls before I knew it. Then suddenly, the camera “locked up” and wouldn’t function. My first thought was my battery went out, and I couldn’t find my spare. No worries… three rolls would keep me busy. I tried to figure out what went wrong when I got home. Sadly, when I switched lenses, my mirror didn’t seat when I cleaned it the night before and overexposed almost all of the film. So, here is the handful of salvageable photos from the run. They’re a bit artsy, and I feel like I didn’t capture the uniqueness of the run and quality of the cars that showed up. Nevertheless, here is my humble offering of photos from the Bonnie and Clyde run, and a big thanks to Ryan, ASS, and all the great cars that made it out. Out of the overexposed I really like the grainy look of this photo. This 36 was absolutely stunning The Waco Kid Before After The James roadster
