a buddy and myself drove up from houston to check out the austin speed shop reliability run and also participate in his gold ford truck, got to see the debut of jesse james new roadster ( freakin incredible car btw ) partake in some bbq and beverages. had a great time, took round 200 pics and shot some videos with my DSLR camera. a huge thank you to the a.s.s. crew for the shindig they put on and hope this wasnt a 1 and done event
Hell, it ain't even a teaser thread . . . . a teaser thread would have at least a front 3/4 shot . . . .
Dammit!!! I thought I was just too tired last night to see the pictures.......but here I am all bright eyed and bushy tailed and still no damn pictures!!!!!!!!!!
heres a video I shot of the roadster, pictures will be uploaded MONDAY at the link in my signature http://youtu.be/aYMIaH8bw2E
Pretty awesome. I wish I could see more details on it. Thanks for the video Dead Pan. Where are the taillights? Does it have a flip down license plate? Looks like the windshield is still in brass...wonder if that will be chromed or left as is. Looks kinda cool the way it is.
Thanks for the teaser. I've been hearing a lot about that car lately. I will assume given the location of the event in proximity to Jalopy Journal HQ that we will probably get full blown event coverage tomorrow...but I'm no expert.
Nothing like trying to drive traffic to another site. I believe Mr R&C Lee got his pepee slapped a few years ago for doing the same. For the record, I LIKE bangshift
i got my hand slapped last year for doing it another way by the mods, I was told this is how im supposed to do it now
Great car. The only thing I personally don't care for is the big fan. But, being a flathead guy, I know why it's there.
It looks great regardless. I wonder why it's got single exhaust too and the taillights but Jesse did this one up pretty good. Love them headlights too. iPhone - TJJ app
There are a lot of really neat details on that car. The details knock it out of the park. Those guys poured their hearts and souls into that thing and it shows. Very ,VERY cool car.
Great looking car! Is the pitman arm custom made? Looks like it has a Doane Spencer/Rolling Bones style front end with later wishbones, does this allow for more of a drop?
Here's the Bangshift link to Charles' photos.... http://bangshift.com/gallery/austin-speed-shop-bonnie-and-clyde-reliability-run.html Good stuff -- thanks! Malcolm
